Would you get electricuted if you stood in a storm holding a fork?

Did you ever hear about Benjamin Franklin and the kite? Where he tied a key to a piece of twine then flew the kite that the twine was attatched to? Then the lightning hit the key, which was metal. Okay so I'm not entirely sure if that's how the story goes.... But anyway, i'm thinking, if you decided to stand outside with a fork, you would get electricuted. Or at least get hit by the lightning bolt. Maybe if you do, you should at least wear rubber gloves (that's what Ash does in the first episode of Pokemon when Pikachu is being a down right little shite). But if I were you, I wouldn't try it at all.
